This paper has as its purpose to analyze the results obtained by the industries from Sao Paulo state related to the technological and also to the identification of the factors which influenced this phenomenon. For this purpose data from Research on Sao Paulo State Economic Activity (PAEP) provided by State Data and System Analysis Foundation (SEADE). Within this context, a conceptual model was designed which relates features that can influence the innovative performance of these enterprises that give rise to a logistic regression model to be the technique used. The results show that when it comes to technological product innovation the relevant factors to make it possible are: the internal information sources, the cooperation on research and development (R&D), the availability of a R&D specific department, financial investments in R&D, export orientation, the information sources related to the market, the human resource investments in R&D, and the so called other information sources. However, the influential factors related to technological innovation processes are: government support to innovation, the information sources related to the market, the internal information resources, the availability of a R&D specific department, company age, cooperation on R&D, other information sources, export orientation, the human resource percentage straight related to the production, to institutional information sources, and the average salary.
