摘要：
This article concerns the application of information and communication technologies in the field of distance education based on this new positioning of the teacher, suggests the characteristics that differentiate the teaching of a traditional classroom and the new approach which must be addressed in the form of distance education in conjunction with the technological advances of today. A proposal was also part of the role of teacher immersed in technology and its impact on the active participation of students in their learning process.
