摘要
A conceptual study of a Demo reactor was started in Russia in 1992. The goal of the study is to establish plasma physics parameters and technical characteristics of a Demo reactor. Studies carried out have included: a consideration of the Demo technical requirements and parameters; system studies; a choice of the energy conversion system and preliminary design of some blanket options; analysis of a structural materials database and recommendations; analysis of the plasma operational conditions; a consideration of some divertor options; analysis of structural materials activation and issues of their refabrication; and reactor layout. Demo reactors with pulsed (Demo-P) and steady (Demo-S) operational regimes are studied. Reactor Demo-S is based on the current drive resulting from a bootstrap effect.
