The subject has become more present in my thoughts academic, personal and collective when I had more time to care for clients in the ICU of a public hospital of reference in Cardiology located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, on the condition of probation, however, that research was already being developed when performed in the Scientific Initiation of stock condition. Objective: To identify the perceptions of students who take care of customers and hard technologies needed in the process of death and dying. Methodology: qualitative method, the scenario an IFES. The subjects were students of nursing. The strategy used for data collection was structured interview. Results and Discussions: listed 01 categories of perceptions of students in lexical terms. Conclusions: The recovery of concern and perceptions of nursing students by those who teach and provide health care and nursing, at worst, to symbolize an ethical, a horizon and a goal pursued by professional teachers and welfare of health, especially for the nurse.
