摘要
Results for worst-case pulsed interference of binary phase-shift keying spread-spectrum (BPSK-SS) modulation are known for non-faded and for Rayleigh faded channels. There are two fading channel generalizations which enable continuouse traversal between these two limits. These are the Nakagami-m and the Rician fading channel. Both channel models are one-parameter families of fading channels with the Gaussian and Rayleigh channels as their end members. Worst-case partial-band ONC-PB) jamming of Nakagami fading channel was recently studied. However, only noncoherent modulation was considered. This paper presents the analysis of worst-case partial time interference of BPSK-SS transmitted over frequency non-selective Rician fading channel. in the case of coherent detection, no simple, closed form expression of the error probability (P-e) is available. Hence, P-e is expressed in terms of Marcum Q-function, and approximations are used to derive the performance results. The present approach has a merit over previous results of the Nakagami channel since for the Rician channel, the family parameter rho(2) represents the ratio of specular and scattered powers. It is shown that the known results for the Gaussian channel can be derived from our results when rho(2) --> infinity.
