摘要
Objective: To reflect on the training of nurses for the Family Health Strategy. Method: This study is a reflection on the training of nurses. Results: Nurse education should contribute to the process of health promotion, in order to raise awareness and provide knowledge and skills essential to the professional to become the provider and health educator. One experiences a process of scientific and technological modernization has changed the construction of knowledge and relationships with the world of work, leading to discussions about the need for changes in training for these professionals. These discussions have flagged for training with a new profile of nurses capable of meeting the health needs in the current context. Conclusion: There is need for education to professional nurses to understand the public policy and a new awareness of comprehensive care in Family Health Strategy.
