SELF-PUMPED PHASE-CONJUGATION BY STIMULATED BACKSCATTERING IN PHOTOREFRACTIVE CRYSTALS

摘要
The stimulated backscattering theory under the highly depleted pump condition is studied. We find a solution of the scattering wave which is the phase-conjugate of the incident pump wave. Its frequency shift arises from the moving phase grating. Using Kukhtarev's model we discuss the spontaneous formation of the moving grating.
