ESTABLISHING A RESEARCH-ORIENTED PEDIATRIC POSTGRADUATE TRAINING-PROGRAM

In 1993, the California College of Pediatric Medicine established a 1-year research fellowship. Each year, this fellowship gives one individual who has completed residency training the opportunity to focus on research methodology. A fellow's activities are coordinated by the research department. It is hoped that the research fellowship will provide a steady flow of trained researchers for the profession.
