摘要
Spectrophotometric determination of molybdenum by the reaction with phenylfluorone and lauryldimethylbenzylammonium bromide has been elaborated. In the 0.1 mol l(-1) HCl the complex shows the absorption maximum at 526 nm. Molar absorptivity is 1.05x10(5) 1 mol(-1) cm(-1). Molybdenum can be determined in the range 0.02-0.14 mu g, ml(-1). Tin(II), antimony(III), vanadium(V), zirconium, germanium, tungsten and chromium(VI) interfere in the determination. The method was used for determination of molybdenum in Armco iron.
