摘要
This paper aims to analyse the relationship between language learning strategy use and learning style choice in foreign language learning by graduate students. Students use different kinds of specific strategies that help them to learn. Their strategies differ because their learning styles are different. The participants were.340 graduate learners studying English as foreign language. The study presents a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design. The results revealed that analytic learners used strategies such as analysis of words to identify the meaning of a part or several parts of them and focused on reviewing grammar rules, grammatical components. Subjects identified with global style preferred communicative strategies, used similarities and differences between the two languages. Visual, Auditory and kinesthetic learners presented a similar profile to global students. Finally, the report highlighted the similarity between individual style and analytic learners.
