Some new oscillation criteria for the even order damped functional differential equation (a(t)x(n-1)(t))′ + p(t)|βx(n-1) + q(t)f(x[g1(t)],...,x[gm(t)]) = 0 are established, where β ≥0. These criteria are an extension of some of the known results. © 1991.
