TECHNICAL PROGRESS AND QUALITY IN AGROFOOD INDUSTRY

The technical progress in the agro-food industry are tremendous. They enable the manufacturers to meet a new demand from consumers: restaurants patrons out of household or supermarkets customers. They are involved in all areas and all food products. The new products are many, the quality gains in regularity as far as trade as well as wholesomeness are concerned. The latter was and remains under the supervision of public officials, but with a larger responsibility from private sector which commits itself more and in a volunteer-oriented policy of business and product certification, in the scope of the oncoming opening of the European Common Market.
