AN ENERGY-CONSUMPTION FORECAST FOR THE SOVIET RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SECTOR

摘要
To estimate future energy consumption for the Soviet residential and commercial sector, a simulation model has been developed allowing various scenarios of economic development to be calculated. The impact of social, economic and technical factors on the levels and structure of energy consumption has been taken into account. The forecast of energy consumption has been made for the following main energy uses: space heating and air-conditioning; hot water supply; cooking; lighting; household appliances; and services.
