GROUNDED THEORY: A METHODOLOGICAL PLAN TO RESPECT THE NATURE OF THE WORLD

In this article we will try to examine the origin and the proposal of Grounded Theory, formulated the first time from Barney G Glaser and Anselm L. Strauss in 1967. Our special interest for this theory consist in the fact that in recent years sociologist refer to it as a conceptual support of the new software of qualitative data. We will focus on some criticism and specifically in some methodology's discussion: the myth of tabula rasa and the possibility to combine qualitative and quantitative data in a sociological research.
