SYRPHIDAE (DIPTERA) FROM THE COMORO ARCHIPELAGO WITH DESCRIPTION OF A NEW CERATOPHYA SPECIES

摘要：
The syrphid fauna of the Comoro Archipelago is reviewed in this article. In total 21 species are reported from these islands, 17 of which are reported for the first time. One new Ceratophya species is described. The faunal composition is compared with those of other islands of the Malagasy Region, and the origin of the syrphid fauna is briefly discussed.
