摘要
Undocumented Mexican migrants in the United States, looking for new coping mechanisms and to changes in immigration policy fits and looks for other coping strategies. From the year 2001 to the terrorist attacks immigration policy was tightened and many Mexicans came out injured before the mass deportations by federal authorities and the new role began playing local authorities on safety arguments began to take powers, causing racism, unemployment and mass deportations separating families. To circumvent these difficulties migrants use their social networks, such as to allow them to help in their survival, reaffirming the importance of links with family and community, without them it would be impossible to achieve the American dream, where relationships become essential to travel, take care of their rights and survive in such adverse circumstances that have been established in the United States.
