摘要
Women in different phases of the menstrual cycle reported their preferences for various genres of television programs along with ratings of their affective dispositions. The findings revealed considerable variability in women's preferences for comedy and suspense drama television programs. Comedy preferences were strongest immediately prior to and during menses when negative affect was also most evident. Ar the mid-point of the menstrual cycle, when positive affect proved the strongest, an elevated interest in suspense drama programs was apparent.
