摘要
Changes of silver halide composition and temperature affect spectral sensitizing, in part, by shifting the silver halide energy levels. It is proposed here that shifts in the levels, especially in the conduction-band minimum, can be more readily estimated from a simple theoretical calculation than from experimental data now available. By using this approach several energy-level diagrams were determined. It was evident from the diagrams that temperature changes affected the positions of the valence bands almost exclusively. Compositional changes produced more complicated results.
