摘要
Molybdenum is a potential material for the first wall and/or protection wall in tokamak fusion reactors. Tensile tests at room temperature to 600 degree C were performed on specimens neutron irradiated to a fluence of 6. 6 multiplied by 10**2**3 n/m**2 (E greater than 1 Mev). The increase in yield strength and degree of embrittlement was more pronounced for single crystal specimens than for polycrystalline specimens. However, the carburized single-crystal specimens had the lowest DBTT after irradiation.
