A REVIEW OF THE MOTH TRIBE PALYADINI WITH THE DESCRIPTION OF A NEW GENUS (GEOMETRIDAE, ENNOMINAE)

摘要：

The tribe Palyadini Guenee is revised at the generic level. It includes about 115 described species, and occurs in tropical America with representatives from Florida to Argentina. There are six genera: Palyas Guenee, Phrygionis Hubner, Pityeja Herrich-Schaffer, Argyrotome Warren, Opisthoxia Hubner, and a new genus Ophthalmoblysis. Ophthalmophora Guenee and Argyroplutodes Warren are treated as junior synonyms of Opisthoxia. Checklists of the species-group names in each genus are included.
