Application of Ergo - Lean Manufacturing in the value analysis

With the aim to satisfy the demands of the clients many companies are implementing the process of Lean Manufacturing. The objective to apply this philosophy is to eliminate the unnecessary steps or wastes within the production flow. This process is complemented with the point of view of the ergonomics, which tries to eliminate unnecessary or unsafe activities related to the performing of the task in the process. Ergo-Lean is the application of the ergonomic principles which intends to reduce activities that do not add value to the product as well as taking care of the worker's health. This article focuses on the principles of both technologies and presents a successful case of the application of the Ergo-Lean principles.
