摘要
The results from the MoDo ANAMET plant have demonstrated the efficiency of the gas washing and recirculation system to remove toxicity caused by hydrogen sulfide. Large amounts of sulfur can be recovered, which is of great economical benefit. An annual savings of about 800 metric tons of sulfur is obtained. As a result of the efficient removal of the toxic effect caused by high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide, a high BOD and COD removal is achieved. The BOD removal averaged about 95%, and the corresponding COD removal was about 70%. Methane production was equivalent to about 2500 metric tons of oil per year.
