DOCUMENT SUPPLY IN THE NEW INFORMATION ENVIRONMENT

Interloans and document delivery are being fundamentally altered by the new information environment created by technology development, economic change, new attitudes to information demand and supply, and different professional roles. The conventiional routines involved in identifying user needs, locating documents, requesting and transmitting them are all being rev olutionized in the light of these changes and are bringing their own impetus for other changes in atti tudes and procedures.
