摘要
This article poses the results obtained from a basic static simulation in system level. Using the Montecarlo method, this simulation allowed analyzing the Co-channel interference and the effect of different interference coordination mechanisms in a heterogeneous network, which is characterized mainly by the interaction of a macro base station and femtocells, in an urban micro cellular environment. This paper shows how different interference coordination mechanisms improve the performance of networks by substantially diminishing co-channel interference, and increase the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) perceived by the user, satisfying the quality objectives required by each of the users who establish a communication with the macro base station.
