摘要：
this study present a theoretical approach to research articles in order to propose a methodological-theoretical approach of analysis, based on the concepts of moves and rhetorical steps. During the review process a correlation between academic literacy and research journal editorial processes was not found. The major findings of this review are that researching, writing and publishing are a triad inherent to the intellectual development and to the research-academic progress. Research writing presents different difficulties; besides, it is a problem issue that has been put sideways. The scientific journals and research groups, while discourse research-academic communities, constitute strategies for the strengthening of scientific-type discursive competences.
