Before (a) and after (b) contraction of the spleen in tilapia, the relationship of splenic weight (SW, g) to body weight (BW, g) was (a) SW = 0.001902 BW + 0.001702 and (b) SW = 0.000213 BW + 0.012414, respectively. 2. 2. The relationship of hemoglobin content of the spleen (SHb, g) to body weight was (a) SHb = 0.000404 BW - 0.001170 and (b) SHb = 0.000020 BW + 0.000640, respectively. © 1990.
