Using Evidence in Education and Practice: More Findings from the National Survey on EXCELLENCE IN NURSING EDUCATION

摘要
THE LITERATURE reflects a growing commitment among nurse educators to infuse curricula with evidence-based practice. Consistent with recent Institute of Medicine reports (1,2), the NLN has monitored the infusion of evidence-based practice in curricula across all types of nursing programs. Concomitantly, we have called for evidence-based teaching. Indeed, in the recent position statement Transforming Nursing Education, the Board of Governors reasserted the imperative that innovation in nursing education emanate 'from evidence that substantiates the science of nursing education and provides the foundation for best educational practices"
