摘要
This study aimed to analyze the contributions of projects clean development mechanism (CDM) cogeneration power through bagasse in a Sugarcane Plant for the promotion of technology transfer, environmental technologies and local sustainability. To achieve this goal, we carried out an exploratory nature of literature and documents as well as interviews and a case study in order to deepen the knowledge about the object of study. Primary data was collected through field research through interviews and secondary data were extracted from the query and analysis of the Project Design Document (PDD) Plant New America, using for this technique content analysis. The research is a qualitative and descriptive. The survey results showed that profitability was the main motivation for the implementation of CDM project of New America Plant, as well as the CDM project did not stimulate the promotion of technology transfer and new cleaner technologies. Finally, there were modest economic benefits generated in the component, leaving the marginalized social and environmental aspects in the development of CDM project, thus showing a picture of mono bottom line in the aspect of sustainability. Already in the aspects of technology transfer and environmental technologies there has been no contribution, since the technology has remained the same only improving their energy efficiency in its boilers for power cogeneration.
