摘要
A new scheme is suggested for generation of electromagnetic field squeezed states due to the excitation of nonlinearly coupled oscillators the frequencies of which are multiple omega-0 almost-equal-to 2-omega-p. The resonance between the oscillators can provide the high efficiency of the pump radiation conversion into the squeezed field. An assumption of slow relaxation is employed to take into account the temporal dynamics of the medium which leads to a squeezing threshold, an appearance of oscillations at a large number of particles, generation of a squeezed pulse with a finite average amplitude out of vacuum and to other features. The estimates are presented of conditions for squeezing the IR emission of vibrational modes of multiatomic molecules.
