摘要：
This article describes therapy and treatment result of a young adult patient with skeletal Class III malocclusion. 20 years of age, the male patient showed a class III skeletal malocclusion due to maxillary retrognathy, as well as a cross bite and an open bite. Maxillary expansion was carried out with a tooth-bourne device, without surgical assistance. The severity of the skeletal discrepancy and the facial appearance were the reasons for combined orthodontic and surgical treatment.
