摘要
LGBT Youth in America's Schools, by Jason Cianciotto and Sean Cahill, synthesizes research, practice, and policy to inform more supportive and safer conditions and experiences for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students in elementary and secondary schools. The book is organized into three sections: research on LGBT youth school experiences; school practices, laws, and policies; and policy and research recommendations. Significantly, this resource includes a research agenda that can expand knowledge about LGBT youth in schools, including policies and practices that improve outcomes for LGBT youth.
