The study was conducted among 159 patients at risk for the SRBD admitted to The Department of Internal Medicine at the Medical University of Lublin. Results. 81% of the patients were diagnosed with SRBD. The sensitivity of the BQ was found to be 88.9% and specificity - 11.5%. In the patients with severe sleep apnea sensitivity of the BQ was 96.2% and specificity - 17.5%. Conclusions. The Berlin Questionnaire is an inexpensive, available and easy-to-perform screening tool for the SRBD. It has a particular diagnostic value in primary care.
