摘要
It is shown that, while in the real-time formalism of thermal field theory in the gauge A0 = 0, the longitudinal propagator has a double pole at k0 = 0, this is not the case in the imaginary-time formalism. However, in the imaginary-time formalism thermal averages are complicated by the need to include additional operators in the corresponding traces. © 1990.
