摘要
Using data from the INMA (Infancia y medio ambiante, environment and childhood) Spanish birth cohort, the authors of this article(star) examined the associations between first-trimester maternal plasma concentrations of four perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and a set of clinical and biological parameters predicting cardiometabolic risk, measured between the ages of 6 months and 7 years. The authors observed little or no indications of any effects of prenatal PFAS exposure.
