摘要：
Three case studies of the introduction of expert systems into Australian organizations are presented to illustrate the influence of organizational contexts on technical developments. The studies provide a pilot study for continuing observation of information systems development in a small number of settings. The selection of knowledge-based, or expert, systems for the initial study is discussed, together with the implications of a longitudinal, qualitative approach to information systems development.
