摘要：
This article reviews a specific type of derived verb in Persian language called denominal or, false infinitive", which is the output of an obsolete and now unproductive model of verb-formation. In this regard, the main focus herein is the place of this verb in the verbal system of modern Persian language given the fact that this one and the other types of simple and derived verbs are being systematically put aside by the compound ones. Apart from reviewing of the actual state of this facing extinction type of verbal units, the hereby article comprises some main structural properties of theirs, as well as the model of their formation from nouns, many of which of Arabic origin.
