摘要
This experiment aimed to evaluate the influence of the quantity of applied water on green maize crop, in dripping system, in the region of South Mato Grosso Cerrado. Irrigation management was done with tank evaporation meter "Classroom A" using the Crop Coefficients (KC) for converting evapotranspiration reference in crop evapotranspiration. Used experimental design was randomized blocks, where four times of water applying (25, 50, 100 and 200% of the calculated time of applying) with four replications were evaluated. The results indicated that the treatments submitted to the highest time of irrigation, and, consequently, the greatest offer of water, showed the greatest values of diameter and of unhusked ears masses. The quantity of applied water did not promote significative alterations on length and on yield of unhusked ears per hectare.
