摘要
since 1987 the UNO in the World Commission of the Environment defined the sustainable development as that one who attends to the needs of the present generations, without putting in danger the aptitude to attend to the needs of the future generations, nevertheless, in spite of diverse studies realized about the world it is continued working with an economic untenable model. Mining in Colombia has been highlighted as one of the main drivers of economic growth, however, corruption, environmental damage and social conflict exasperation has led to populations where these resources are exploited recorded the highest levels of needs unsatisfied basic due to the lack of an efficient and transparent tax system that has resulted in the profit and gain of only a few multinational corporations.
