摘要
The critical dynamics of the alternating bond kinetic Ising model on a chain is examined. It is shown that previous non-universal results for the dynamical critical exponent z for single spin flip dynamics should be reinterpreted. The critical slowing down is due to two distinct contributions which, when separated, indicate that the value of z is universal. The exponent remains universal even when two spin flip dynamics are considered.
