摘要
Cell and organelle movement is one of the fundamental aspects of the cellular development. I present a new mechanism of slow motility based on a coupling between osmotic pressure and the ionic currents which can flow through the cell. The final speed is calculated and compared with experiments. I discuss an application to growth speed evaluation of a tube cell.
