摘要
The paper presents data concerning the roof pressure field for low-rise buildings with flat roofs. Building models of constant height and varying height-to-width-ratios (h/a = 0.4 to 0.04) have been investigated in smooth wind tunnel flow and in three different simulated atmospheric boundary layer flows. Thus, it was possible to vary the relative building dimensions and the Jensen-number separately. The results show that the roof pressure field is more strongly influenced by the relative building height than it is by the Jensen-number. This information is missing in most building standards and codes.
