摘要
A method for the determination of reflectivity of high-reflecting mirrors utilizing a mode-locked laser and a sensitive photodetector with a high resolution time is described. Laser light is passed through an optical resonator consisting of two tested mirrors. The damp time of the resonator connected with its Q-factor, which is determined by the mirrors reflectivity, is measured through the lengthening of the light pulse backfront.
