摘要
Recorded domains on perpendicular recording double-layer media are imaged by magnetooptical Kerr effect microscopy. The reversal domains are observed at the edge of tracks by a head whose leading pole is wider than its trailing pole. The perpendicular magnetic field of a trailing pole overwrites the domains written by that of a leading pole.
