SPIN-WAVE THEORY OF THE HALDANE GAP IN ONE-DIMENSIONAL ANTIFERROMAGNETS

摘要
We point out that spin-wave theory with the additional constraint introduced by Hirsch and Tang predicts a gap in the spectrum of one-dimensional isotropic antiferromagnets at T=0, in agreement with the Haldane result for S=1. At finite temperatures the gap is comparable to the experimental values in CsNiCl3. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
