摘要
As English is internationally considered a global language in today's world, there is a growing need for the discussion and reflection of culture in the English as a Second Language classroom. A teacher's role is to stimulate student interest in culture and incite the idea that the foreign language classroom is not only a moment to teach language, but an opportunity for different types of learning through participant interaction. The teaching of culture motivates students throughout the learning process, as it allows learners to observe similarities and differences within various cultural groups and diminishes the chances for learners to create improper judgments about their own culture in relation to others. With this in mind, this study presents research carried out through possible activities to be used in the foreign language classroom linking language and culture and discusses the impact these activities could have on foreign language learners.
