摘要
The study analyses the living conditions of the old people of an average municipality of the province of Tarragona with the aim to propose some restructurings in the social and cultural services and the models of intervention. They have been taken into account quantitative aspects (demography of the municipality referent to the progression of the age of retirement, sex, educational level, professional and economic, inventory of resources and devices, users of services and citizen participation), as well as of qualitative character (by means of groups of discussion and interviews to old people and to technical and municipal managers). The aspects analysed has been framed in the current socioeconomic context, in the moment that are carrying out multiple reforms, especially in the plans of public and private retirement, as well as in different fields and levels of the administration. Also they have been analysed the trends of the new old people, describing the aspects more rellevants of his lifestyles, taking into account that they are the protagonists of the cultural revolution of the years sixty. Both questions are those that will determine the type of services that it will be necessary to develop in the future and the supports that will have to receive the old people to promote his autonomy, improve his living quality and his commitments with the familiar and municipal activity.
