摘要
Ultrasonic and specific-heat measurements have been performed across the superconducting transition on a single crystal of La1.86Sr0.14CuO4. A pronounced jump of the elastic constant DELTAC33(T(c)) = -0.15 GPa is observed at T(c) = 34 K as well as a specific-heat jump DELTAc(p)/T(c) = 9.6 mJ/K2mol, whereas a jump in C-11 is less obvious. The results allow quantitative estimation of the strain dependence of T(c) and the condensation energy along the a and c axes.
