INVESTIGATION STRATEGIES AND SOCIAL INTERVENTION IN GEOGRAPHY

This paper aims to present the main social research strategies used by the Geographic as a Social Science, appealing to ignorance and lack of use, the direction being taken this discipline in the national context, closer to Technical paradigm. the main epistemological and research and intervention strategies used empirically in the methodological framework of the thesis: "Power and Public Space:" Theory and Practice in the Land. Case Study: Lomas La Torre, Achupallas, Vihas del Mar", innovating in the use of CAQDAS (Qualitative Analysis Programs Computer Assisted Data) as an important tool in the treatment of qualitative data to Social Geography.
