THE ROLE OF ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

This work presents a proposal to deal with analytical chemistry focused on Sustainable Chemistry and Quality Assurance. The proposal considers a reasoned knowledge of the chemical reactivity, and the design of practical representative experiences of chemical equilibriums that use common techniques for quantitative analysis; the proposed experiences were designed according to the principles of Green Chemistry to initiate the professionals in designing scalable chemistry processes at an industrial level, according to requirements of a sustainable civilization. All the proposed experiences were tested and accepted by undergraduate and graduate students.
