摘要
We show with the help of simple Flory-type arguments that critical indices nu for the swelling of a branched polymer with a quenched system of branchings and with annealed branchings differ so that nu(qu) < nu(ann). This is due to the fact that the process of rearranging branchings accompanies swelling of the annealed polymer. This difference becomes drastic in some physical manifestations, e.g., behavior in capillaries. We also discuss briefly the behavior of annealed polymers in the regime of a semidilute solution.
